Fentress Global Challenge International Architecture Competition

Those who like to challenge themselves and find solutions to difficult problems will love the international Fentress Global Challenge. We need to come up with a project for the airport of the future.We'll have to fantasize, mentally travel back to 2075 and imagine how public architecture will change by this time.

Today, airports are not just transport hubs, but rapidly developing centers of trade and culture.Thousands of people visit them every day. It is necessary to think about how to make these public places more comfortable for guests from different countries.

A project of one airport from the list or any other can be proposed for the competition (the main condition is that it must be the same size as those declared by the organizers).The list includes airports in the USA (Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles), France (Paris), China (Beijing, Hong Kong), Great Britain (London) and Germany (Frankfurt).The work must take into account the currently operating runways, as well as land restrictions.

Entries for the competition are accepted until May 31. The winner will receive $ 10,000 and an invitation to an international event for architects.All expenses are covered by the organizers.The second place winner will receive $ 3,000. The third place winner will be awarded $ 2,000. In addition, there will be two People's Choice prizes ($ 1,000 each).Winners will be announced on July 29, 2019.

Undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students who receive education in the field of engineering or architecture, as well as young specialists can participate (no more than four years have passed from the date of graduation). A copy of your student ID or diploma is required.
