The residence was founded under the direction of the Museum Quarter MQ Wien.While in the residence, the participant must prepare a project that will be presented at the exhibition at the end of his stay. To participate, you need a recommendation from one of the MQ partner institutions. Non-profit cultural The Studios of Key West in Florida hosts artists in an art center residence for beginners and creative professionals. From October to August, the residence annually hosts 35 artists, each of whom can stay here for a month.

Residence Jardin Orange in Shenzhen City gives artists the opportunity to try new techniques in the visual arts. This residence was founded by a Maltese artistand architect Norbert Francis Attard.In Gozo Contemporary there are no specific educational programs, so the participants independently allocate their time, can work together, and the program is based on freedom of creative expression.The minimum stay for residents is 2 weeks.The artists will be provided with the necessary materials for work, a studio and a place to live.
