Full Undergraduate Scholarships in the United States
International applicants can apply for a full scholarship to undergraduate programs from Simmons University in Boston. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board. In addition, a $3,000 annual scholarship is available for study abroad, short courses, summer internships and research funding.
Candidate requirements:
A minimum of 28 on the ACT, a minimum of 1300 on the new SAT or a minimum of 1250 on the old SAT;
Good English language skills (TOEFL and SAT/ACT);
A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5.;
College preparatory courses and an advanced mathematics course are required;
A certificate of completion of an advanced honors mathematics course and IB program examinations are required.
Application procedure: The application consists of a mini response to a question and an essay. Candidates should send their work in PDF/WORD Doc format to ugadm@simmons.edu with the subject line "Kotzen Application." Include on the pages of the document - the candidate's first name, last name and date of birth.
Mini Answer (max 250 words): How would you use the additional $3,000 annual stipend?
Essay (max 500 words): Some believe that leaders are born, not made, but others believe otherwise. What is your opinion? Write an essay on this topic, using the example of a leader in the essay.
Interview: Finalists will be interviewed at the university in February. International applicants can be interviewed via Skype.
