Federal Chancellor of Germany Scholarships for Young Leaders

Annually, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation awards scholarships to young leaders from Russia, the USA, China, India and Brazil. Under the terms of the program, up to 10 participants from each country represented in the list can receive a grant. The monthly stipend while staying in Germany is € 2150, € 2450 or € 2750 (the amount depends on the qualifications of the participant).

In addition, additional financial support is possible - funds are provided for living together with fellows of relatives, as well as for German language courses.During their stay abroad, the participants are assisted in everything by mentors.

Selected contributors work on their own projects. A trip to different cities in Germany is planned, during which you can meet other fellows and representatives of German companies. Graduates of the program continue to communicate after returning to their home countries.

Applications for the German Chancellor Fellowship must be submitted with a proposal for your own project. It is necessary to prove to the organizers its social significance, and also to explain how it will help in strengthening relations between Russia and Germany. The areas in which work can be done are different. You can offer ideas in the field of politics, business, economics, culture, as well as present a project related to the media.

Introductory seminars will be held in October in Bonn and Berlin. After that, the participants work on their own projects for 11 months. Membership in the program can be extended for up to three months.

Requirements:

- citizens of Russia, USA, China, Brazil and India can participate;

- requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree obtained less than 12 years before travel date;

- active life position, participation in events, leadership qualities.

It is required to send a letter of motivation, project plan (you need to discuss it with the host organization in Germany), application, 2 recommendationletters.
