(0Description: From July 15 to July 17, 2019, over 400 passionate young leaders from around the world will gather for the 8th Annual Girl Up Summit in Washington DC.Over the course of three days, participants will learn from renowned and successful speakers, attend workshops, and complete assignments.

The Summit aims to empower, educate and activate the potential of young people who change ideas.Thanks to the mentorship of experts, leaders, the participants of the summit will gain important skills that are necessary to work in their society and defend the rights of women.

The organizers provide financial support:

• a grant of $ 1000 to pay for travel expenses;

• payment for registration at the summit.

The registration fee covers all programs, meals (excluding dinner) and transportation.Registration fee does not apply to accommodation.Applicants will know if they will receive financial support no later than March 1, 2019.

When the summit program is available:

Registered participants will receive emails before the summit and the final version of the program will be sent outto all participants in early July.You can also check out the 2018 Leadership Summit program to find out what happened at last year's summit.

Requirements for candidates:

• young female leaders, age 13 - 22;

• nationality and citizenship are irrelevant.
