Filmmakers Without Borders Grant

Accepting applications from filmmakers with different backgrounds from around the world.Projects proposed by participants should cover one of the topics: social justice, identity, cultural exchange, women's voices, climate change, voices of youth.

To participate, you must submit an online application in English.Please attach examples of your work.The future film can be in any language, but then English subtitles are needed.

Grants are given for different stages of film production:

  • Preparation: 250, 500, 750 or 1000 US dollars.

  • Shooting: 500, 1000, 2500 or 5000 dollars.

  • Post-production: $ 250, $ 500, $ 1,000 or $ 2,500.

  • For Film Festival Entry: $ 100, $ 250, $ 500, or $ 750.

Wellcome Photography Prize photo competition about human health

Photos about the importance of health and its impact on our lives are accepted for the competition.In total, four categories are open:

  • Social perspectives.We need to show how health and disease affect our lives.

Wild Photographer of the Year for wildlife photographers

The organizers are looking forward to works that show the beauty of wildlife.Photographers of any age can participate.Conditions for adults and youth are slightly different:

  • there is a 30 pounds fee for participants over 18 years old;

  • For participants under 17 years old there is no entry fee, free participation.

You can send pictures to different categories:

  • Portraits that show the personality of the animalor a small group;

  • Animals in the habitat, where it is necessary to convey that the animal is part of the environment;

  • Behavior.There are 4 subcategories: birds, invertebrates, mammals, amphibians and reptiles;

  • Plants and mushrooms.It is necessary to convey their significance and character;

The photo needs a description: the history of the photo, the observation of the behavior, the location, whether the bait was used, and if so, which one.It should also be noted whether the species is interesting for research.Pictures of pets, in captivity or caught with live bait are not allowed.

The best photographs will be shown on display at the Natural History Museum in Great Britain.Prizes vary by category and are up to £ 10,000.Some winners will also receive travel fees for the opening ceremony.

Nikon Annual Competition

Photographers anddirectors of any age, nationality, regardless of work experience.Applications are accepted in three categories:

  • Changes.There are no age restrictions, you can submit both single photos and a story of 2-5 photos;

  • Identity.Stories and individual photos from participants under 25;

  • A short film on the theme of hope.They consider applications from candidates of any age.

Sony's photography competition, open to photographers over the age of 12 from around the world.Applications can be submitted in one of four categories:
