Short Term Fellowships from Houghton Library
The Houghton Library's Book Collection touches on nearly every aspect of human documented history, in particular the history and culture of Europe and North America, and also includes a large collection of worksabout the history of printing and theater. The library contains both medieval manuscripts and early printed books, as well as working materials of living writers. The Houghton Library provides short-term fellowships for scholars whose research is related to materials in the library's collection.
Scholars will spend four weeks at the library between July 2018 and June 2019 (you can come to the library several times, but the total stay at the library should be four weeks).Each scientist is awarded a scholarship of $ 3600 once.The researchers are expected to report on his work with the collection.
How to apply
To apply for a scholarship, you need to fill out a questionnaire on the website , in which you need to include:
A description of your project that highlights the need for the library's collection materials (600 words);
List of materials required for your research;
Your resume (CV);
Two letters of recommendation.
