How to choose a program?
We know that choosing the program for you can be daunting. Here are our tips for narrowing down all your options to find the experience that helps you meet your personal, academic and professional goals.
First, ask yourself these questions:
What are my study abroad goals (cultural immersion, language acquisition, coursework, etc.)?
What courses do I need to take (major courses, minor courses, electives, gen-eds, etc.)?
When would I like to go? What term (fall, spring, summer, etc.) and what year?
Is there a specific site or geographic region that interests me?
Then, head over to the Program Search to narrow down your program options.
If you've found a few different programs that interest you, check out the program page to view courses and program information. Then to compare sites, look at the Culture Corner for each site to learn about daily life, transportation and the local culture.
