International School for Librarians
Library staff in leadership positions are invited to the International School, which will take place from 16 to 21 September in Germany.The organizers of the project are the Graduate School of Media in Stuttgart and the Goethe-Institut.
Selected candidates will participate in four workshops dedicated to the main theme of this year's project, “Digital Transformation”.All events will be held in English, so a good knowledge of a foreign language is required.Participants will discuss the mission of libraries and the problems of their development, share their experience with colleagues from other countries.
Requirements:
- at least 3 years of work in the library (maximum - 10 years);
- the candidate must be in a managerial position;
- age up to 45 years;
- good knowledge of the English language (you should easily perceive speech by ear and maintain a conversation with colleagues in a foreign language);
- citizens of Russia can take part.
The organizers pay for tuition and accommodation in a single room in a hotel in Stuttgart, partially cover travel costs.Participants cover the costs associated with obtaining a visa.
