Travel Japan Summer 2019 with Scholarship

What will happen:

• 5 days stay in Osaka and Kyoto, Japan

• learning and understanding Japanese culture

• walking tours in Kyoto

• immersion in Japanese life

• certificate of the participant fromAYFN

Intercultural issues and learning moments are an integral part of our daily life.To prepare young people to understand and accept cultural and other differences, AYFN offers study tours. Each AYFN journey is built on the following five principles:

• learning as a path to change

• cultural immersion

• informal learning environment

• experiential learning = extended learning

• lifelong learning

The scholarship includes:

• Payment for accommodation for the period of accommodation (double or triple occupancy)

• Meeting at the airport upon arrival

• Meals (breakfast and lunch)

• Travel by local transport during your stay (bus, metro, train)

• tourist facilities

Important: The scholarship does not cover transfers to and from Japan, visa, insurance and personal expenses.

Expected travel date: 1 - 5 July 2019.

Entry Requirements:

• Must be an AYFN member and have a member ID (register here if you are not alreadyare a member)

• 15 to 30 years old

• Conversational English (no TOEFL required)

• Openness and positive attitude

• Ability to travel to Japan during the scheduled accommodation period

Registration and selection process:

Step 1: complete the online application .

Please prepare these documents: scanned valid passport or other ID, recent color photograph, curriculum vitae and personal details / resume)

Step2: Skype interview / video (if you qualify)

Step 3: Announcement of results
