Scholarships for Designers, Architects and Artists

Professional artists, designers and architects can apply to participate in the program lasting from 2 to 4 months. Curators have the opportunity to stay in the residence for one month. Good knowledge of English is required.Young specialists can take part in the program. This option is not available to students.

The organizers pay a monthly stipend of 10,000 kroons, cover travel expenses and provide free accommodation and work. Each of the five residences is a cozy 50 m² space with a 6-meter ceiling and panoramic windows. In addition, a shared studio and a well-equipped carpentry workshop are available. Any travel made while participating in the program is covered by the member himself.

The residence is located in the countryside of the western coast of Norway, three hours' drive from the city of Bergen. Here you can take a break from the noisy life of a big city, enjoy breathtaking mountain landscapes, and devote time to work. The guests of the residence will take part in presentations of colleagues from other countries and in studio events.Documents can be submitted until May 2. It is required to send a letter by e-mail, attaching a completed application, as well as a portfolio in PDF format. Both documents should be named by their full names.
