Nouveau talent comic competition 2019

Artists from different countries aged 15 years and older can take part in the competition. This year's theme is "Shadow". You must complete an online application and mail your comic by July 1st. The project must be submitted on a medium in A3 format (29.7 x 42 cm). The organizers will determine the date of sending the work by the postmark.

Only individual applications are accepted for the competition. The comic can be without text or with text in French, English, German or Italian. The authors of the three best comics will be invited to the festival, which will be held from September 12 to 16, 2019. The jury will assess compliance with the rules of the competition, originality, quality of implementation and storyline.

Three winners will receive cash prizes:

- CHF 2,000 for first place (approximately € 1,760);

- CHF 1,500 for second place (€ 1,320);

- 1000 for the third place (€ 880).

Winners will be notified by e-mail and the phone number indicated during registration by July 31, 2019. In addition, the jury can select several special nominations.

Authors of the best works will be invited to the international festival.The organizers will cover the costs of accommodation and meals, as well as provide 500 Swiss francs for the flight. Rules for participation are published in English.All the details are on the website of the organizers.
