Science Journalism Scholarship

Enter the Ocean Science Journalism Fellowship competition for correspondents, producers and editors! The winners will have a paid trip to the United States in October 2019. The program has been introducing science journalists to oceanography and ocean engineering since 2000.Through seminars, laboratory meetings and hands-on sessions, you will learn about the latest research in the fields of marine biology, geology, geophysics and physical oceanography.

Topics will be raised different - from earthquakes on the seabed to the latest developments of underwater robots. It is important that you raise such topics in your works.Journalists from different countries with at least two years of work experience can take part in the program.In addition, applications from freelancers and writers can also be considered if the portfolio is relevant to the topic.

You can submit your materials in one of two ways.You can send the completed application form along with copies of the required materials by mail (postmark must be made no later than May 17) or apply online.

To participate, you must provide:

- A completed application form.

- Summary.

- Three best works in the last two years.

Articles are accepted as PDF-files. If they are posted on the Internet, then you can send links to publications.Entries must be translated into English. Applications are accepted until May 17, 2019. Details on site .
