Description:
finite element method for the Navier-Stokes equations of multicomponent mixtures (for more details, see the attached pdf with a description of the PhD position). There is an opportunity to participate in international conferences.
Requirements for candidates:
- completed master's degree in applied physics and mathematics or computer science
- fluency in English
- experience in C ++ programming
- good fundamental knowledge of mathematics andphysics
Additionally will be a plus:
- experience with Linux, git
- programming on parallel computing systems (MPI, OpenMP)
- knowledge of the German language
The town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld is small, a beautiful, cozy student city in the central part of Germany.Every third resident of the city is a teacher or university student, there are many international students.
