He also added that the check on timely payment of scholarships, which began at the beginning of the week, will continue. In this case, conclusions will be made not only on the basis of the statements of the heads of universities, but third-party sources will also be used.
Artem Khromov earlier Commissioner for Students' Rights told Kommersant that since the beginning of 2015 he began to receive complaints about delays in payment of scholarships. and when he received quite a number of these applications, he made a list of 40 universities in violation and sent it to the Ministry of Education and Science. After that, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets to check the information about delays in payments, but admitted that "it may not be true".
