Full scholarship to study in Japan

If you would like to work in Japan, try applying for the Research Fellowship Program. Documents are accepted until July 31. Twenty selected foreigners will receive full financial support - the scholarship covers travel costs, insurance, and accommodation costs. After arriving in the Land of the Rising Sun, a lump sum is paid. The study should be conducted between April 2020 and March 2021.

Foreigners under 49 years of age with a doctorate can take part in the program lasting from three to six months. It is important that you have not visited Japan before, and also intend to return to your home country. Excellent knowledge of English or Japanese is required.

Participants in the program choose their host organizations. To apply, you need to send a full package of documents in English by mail.

It must contain a completed application, a document describing the proposed research project, a copy of one of your best publications (if it is not in English, then the text must be translated), CV, letter of recommendation, copy documents on education with translation into English, as well as a letter from the inviting organization.
