PhD Scholarship for Research Fellows
Applications are open for the Russian Studies Postdoctoral Fellowship at Indiana University in Bloomington. The program will begin on August 1, 2019 and will end on July 31, 2020.
Applicants must be research fellows conducting research on Russia and taking an active part in international projects. Those who know Russian perfectly have the advantage.Applications from social science students are welcome. Applicants should conduct research on Russian society and politics, be interested in civil society and human rights issues. The scholarship is $ 50,000 per year.
For 12 months, you will need to be in Bloomington, Indiana, do research and lead a circle for Russian language learners. Scholarships are awarded to researchers with PhD degrees (degree must be completed by August 1, 2019).
All applicants must submit the following documents:
- CV;
- research proposal for 2-3 pages;
- example of work (article or chapter of thesis);
- teacher's statement 1-2 pages with a story about work experience and program proposals for Indiana University;
- 2 letters of recommendation evaluating the applicant's research.
