Postgraduate Scholarship in Finland

Trip duration - 3 months. During this time, you will conduct your own research and a seminar based on the results of the work done.You will then have the opportunity to publish your research results in the WIDER Working Paper Series .

Requirements:

- The candidate must be admitted to graduate school and specialize in developing economies.

- Fluent spoken and written English.

Successful applicants are awarded a grant that covers travel and health insurance costs.You will receive a monthly stipend of $ 1,600 for personal expenses.

Applications of participants are considered twice a year - on March 31 and September 30.If you send documents before March, then if approved, you will conduct research work in Finland from August to November.If you apply before September, the trip will take place from February to June.

Please note that on the website the link to a special online form becomes active only one month before the date of consideration of applications. That is, it will be possible to fill out the questionnaire from March 1 and September 1, respectively.

Those candidates selected to participate in the program will be informed of the decision by e-mail. You won't have to wait long - they promise to send the results in 4 weeks after the deadline.After that, you will have 2 weeks to confirm your readiness to join the program.
