Fully Funded Masters and PhD Programs in Israel
The Weizmann Institute is one of the world's leading research institutes (third in Nature's innovation ranking, seventh in terms of impact factor of publications per employee). The institute is located in the city of Rehovot, half an hour from Tel Aviv. Tuition at the institute is free and in English, and all students receive a stipend of about $2,000 a month.
The institute has undergraduate and graduate programs in physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, and computer science. The physics department admits about 45 undergraduate and 30 graduate students each year. The master's program lasts 2 years and ends with the defense of the master's degree, the postgraduate program lasts 4.5 years and ends with the Ph.D. degree.
