4 aspects of self-care

Surely, we all have acquaintances who say: «Study» or «Health comes first». But, in fact, few people can feel good about themselves, throwing out of life all areas but one. At school we were taught to count, write and pass the USE, but we were not taught to take care of ourselves, and this is the basis of personal growth.

Learn what it means to take care of yourself and why it can help you land a good-paying job.

We can highlight the main aspects of self-care:

  1. care for emotional health;

  2. care for physical health;

  3. care for relationships;

  4. care for professional health.

Emotional health care – actions that help you be aware of and live out your feelings.

  • create;

  • meditate;

  • read a book, watch a movie

  • communicate with people who are supportive, not critical;

  • do all the things you put off for later and cross out the ones that will never be done.

    Physical health care – activities designed to keep your body energetic, disease-free, and living to 100 years old.

    • make sure you get enough sleep.

    • clean up regularly.

    • cook healthy and delicious food

    • wear comfortable clothes

    • dance as if no one could see.

    Relationship care – anything that allows us to interact effectively with those around us.

    • spontaneously give gifts;

    • revel in conversation;

    • stop pleasing everyone to their detriment

    • preserve personal boundaries.

    Professional health – what helps you stay great and not get "burned out.

    • mingle and share experiences with like-minded people

    • don't work while sick;

    • not to overwork;

    • read special literature.

    Pseudo self-care – is when you think you'll feel better if you eat a burger, go scrolling through your social media feed, or buy something unnecessary on a promotion. All of these things provide only short-term relief, and then more devastation sets in. The urge to do something disharmonious will gradually fade as you fix every area of your life.

    Caring for yourself increases your value in your own eyes. Many people don't even try their dream job (and stay in their reality jobs) because they don't think they deserve the money or the conditions. Staying mindful in every area of your life will allow you a much more beautiful life, because we always try to give the best to those we care about.
