Students will be taught teleportation
28 Feb. 2015. (12:00). Universities are increasingly using robots, to create an effect of presence. For example, every student at Michigan State University who takes a course on the online system, plans to give a special robot to create an effect of presence, just like in the classroom. Such an innovation is planned in order to reduce discrimination against distance learning students (however, it is not known whether robots will be taken seriously). At the moment this program is in the stage of development and adaptation to the psychology and technology of the educational process.
The KUBI robot released by Revolve Robotics has several advantages over similar inventions. Every student with an iPad can use special holders to turn an ordinary tablet into a robotic system. The tablet becomes possible to control right from home: to record a lecture; to listen to what the teacher says in the class; to ask questions. And recently, an update has been released with a teleportation feature. This application will allow the user to switch the program to different media located at different points in the world. It's a handy solution if you need to be in multiple places at once.
