CDC Museum Disease Detective Camp

CDC (DDC) is an interdisciplinary summer educational program organized by the CDC Museum. Young people ages 16 and up are invited to participate.

At camp, students are immersed in various areas of public health: public health interventions, global health, communicable diseases, chronic diseases, injury prevention, data analysis, surveys, school health programs, violence prevention, environmental health, emergency preparedness, outbreaks, science communication, technology lab, disease surveillance, epidemiology and public health law.

Participation in the program is completely free, duration — 5 days.

Study from Coriell Institute

The Coriell internship is an opportunity for high school and college students to not only work alongside world-renowned scientists and researchers, but also gain insight into their scientific careers.

Coriell is recognized as a pioneer in genomic discovery, an authority on stem cell research and the world's leading biobank. The four-week Summer Experience program offers students an exclusive introduction to the world of cutting-edge science as they rotate through the institute's laboratories and receive individualized instruction and guidance from a panel of expert mentors.

The Anson L. Clark Scholar Program

The Anson L. Clark Scholar Program is an intensive seven-week summer research program for highly qualified high school students. The program at Texas Tech University helps participants get hands-on, practical research experience with outstanding and experienced teachers. Recreational activities, weekly workshops and field trips are also included.

All participants will receive a $750 scholarship, room and board.

You can do research in any field. You must be 17 years old on the start date of the program.

Program date: June 22-August 6, 2020.

Mathcamp

We invite high school and middle school students from around the world who are passionate about math. Students ages 13 to 18 are eligible to apply. For Mathcamp 2020, your date of birth must be between August 9, 2001 and July 5, 2007.

The program is conditionally free — if your family cannot afford to pay to participate, there is no participation fee. Additional scholarships and travel grants are also available to cover these costs.
