Summer School Schusterman Center (Israel)
The Schusterman Center is the only program dedicated to the study of Israel.The center invites teachers of social sciences and humanities from the United States and other countries of the world to a 2-week residency in Brandeis.During this time, participants will attend seminars and develop new training programs.After the end of the residence, participants are invited to take part in a 10-day tour of Israel with the participation of representatives of the Jewish and Arab intellectuals, politicians and community leaders.
Schusterman Center pays for roundtrip air travel (if you are in the US), room and board.They also provide a scholarship of $ 2500.
Terms of participation
In order to apply, you must upload toby January 31, 2019 organizers website documents:
- Summary;
- Personal statement (motivation for participating in the school);
- An example of your curriculum (does not have to be about Israel);
- Brief description of any of your research on Israel (optional);
- Two letters of recommendation.
