International Summer School in Estonia

Those who are studying art, design, or architecture will love this opportunity! In 2019, free education is available at an international school in Tallinn under the programs:

1.Сlay 3D Printing: Fashion, interior, and industrial design.

  2. Numbers and Cognition in the Urban Environment: Architecture and town planning.

  3. Planetary Countryside.Future Ecologies of the Island: Architecture and town planning.

  4. Sculptural Headwear - Couture Millinery: Fashion, interior, and industrial design.

  5. Speculative and Critical Design - Special Programs Think Tank: Arts and humanities.

  6. The Contemporary Art Field in Estonia: Arts and humanities.

  7. Wood and Design: Fashion, interior, and industrial design.

No registration fees will be charged. Requirements for candidates differ depending on the program. Usually, it is necessary to send a letter of motivation and a portfolio with the application. In the motivation letter, the organizers recommend that you tell about why you want to take part in this program, about your expectations from the course, as well as how you plan to apply the knowledge gained after completing your studies at an international school.

The duration of the training and the schedule depends on the chosen course, but the deadline is general - applications can be submitted until May 12The working language is English. Students will be taught by leading teachers, artists, and researchers from the Estonian Academy of Arts and other partner universities. An approximate schedule has already been posted on the project website.

The Summer Academy of Art, Design, and Architecture was founded in 1914. Project implemented with the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund. All the details are on the site of the project.
