PhD in Taiwan

Sinica Academy, a leading research institute in Taiwan, is now accepting applications for postgraduate studies. Sinica Academy, in collaboration with the best universities in Taiwan, offers interdisciplinary postgraduate studies in nine areas covering natural and physical sciences, as well as computational linguistics. All students will receive a scholarship from the Academy. The scholarship is $ 12,500 per year and is awarded over three years. Applications are open for the following areas of postgraduate study:

1. Biochemistry and molecular biophysics;

2. Molecular Science and Technology;

3. Molecular and biological agricultural sciences;

4. Bioinformatics;

5. Molecular and Cellular Biology;

6. Nanotechnology;

7. Molecular medicine;

8. Earth sciences;

9. Biodiversity;

10. Neurobiology;

11. Chemical-technological stability;

12. Social networks and human-centered design.

Admission requirements

1. Applicants must have a bachelor's and / or master's degree inthe moment of filing the application.Students who have received only a bachelor's degree will first be admitted to the master's program, and upon completion, to the postgraduate program.The program "Molecular and Cellular Biology" can only be applied with a master's degree;

2. Applicants must have excellent command of English, as all courses are taught only in English.

1. Questionnaire (can be downloaded from the website);

2. Bachelor's or Master's degree, as well as transcripts in English;

3. TOEFL, IELTS, or GEPT scores;

4. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results;

5. Motivation letter;

6. Three letters of recommendation;

7. Additional information.
