Research grant in Japan
The Matsumae International Foundation annually provides 20 grants for foreigners to conduct research in Japan.Priority is given to candidates who plan to undertake work in the natural sciences, engineering, and medicine.
The duration of a trip to Japan can be from 3 to 6 months.The grant covers the full cost of travel, accommodation and insurance.Upon arrival in the country, a one-time allowance is paid.
Requirements:
- citizens of other countries can take part in the program;
- this option is available to candidates with a doctorate degree;
- participants must be no older than 49 years old;
- excellent knowledge of English or Japanese is required;
- the candidate should not have any health problems.
A prerequisite is that those who have never been to Japan before or who have traveled to the Land of the Rising Sun on a short-term visit can apply for a grant.After completing the research, you must return to your homeland and continue to work in your specialty.
