University of Montreal (Canada) Scholarships for Masters and Postgraduates

The admission process includes two stages:

  1. First, fill out an application in Google.Docs by link.Deadline: December 1, 2018.

  2. The best candidates will be contacted by the university directly. After interviewing the future research supervisor, you can apply for the Master in Computer Science or PhD in Computer Science programs at the university.Applications are accepted until February 1.

But let us note again: in order to be accepted into the research group, you must fill out an application before December 1.

Why exactly this order?

When entering the university, you must choose a supervisor and get his approval.This is a mandatory process: only then will you be accepted and you will receive a scholarship.

Who can apply?

The following requirements must be met:

  1. Prospective graduate students need a master's degree in mathematics, computer science or physics and a GPA higher than 4.5;

  2. A master's program requires a bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science or physics and a GPA higher than 4.4

  3. You must have a good command of English.The supervisor will independently confirm that you can speak and write in English;

  4. You love and know how to program.Preferably in C ++, but also in other languages;

  5. You are good at computational methods, differential geometry and differential equations, you are ready to apply them in your work;

Optional, but great if you:

  1. Know Python or MATLAB;

  2. Know how to draw or just love fine art;

  3. Interested in animation;

  4. Know how to work in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Maya, 3D StudioMax or ZBrush;

  5. Know a little French.

  6. Understand Machine Learning / Deep Learning.
