It happens that the right word constantly flies out of my head.You copy it on a card or in a diary, come up with examples, but still, for some reason, it doesn’t linger in your memory.In this case, visual dictionaries come to the rescue.
Oxford picture dictionary
In this unusual dictionary on Youtube channel, you can find videos by topic ("transport", "Food", education "," work "and others).The words are written under the pictures along with transcriptions and voiced by the speaker.This way you memorize both the spelling and the correct pronunciation at the same time.

The site contains more than 5000 popular words for Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate levels. A picture is selected for each, an example is given. The cards are well-voiced. The organizers of the project note that they took the list of words that are most often used, removed the most popular ones from it, as well as international ones that are familiar to everyone, and then added phrasal verbs.Conveniently, list can be downloaded and printed. Once you have learned these 5,000 words, it will be easier to watch movies in the original language and listen to podcasts.

This site contains sets of flashcards with words in English, German, Spanish and Italian. You can choose one of two study methods - either by topics of interest or alphabetically.
