Scholarship for the European Master of Science in Photonics program at Vrije Universiteit

All candidates wishing to apply to Vrije Universiteit will have the opportunity to demonstrate their technical knowledge during an interview prior to final admission. Each scholarship application will be screened based on your excellence in skill and motivation upon admission to the program.

Conditions of participation

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

The program is open to candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, (applied) physics, materials science, or equivalent.Students in their final year of such programs will also be considered.Candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree in another field of engineering can join the program through a personalized preparatory program.This preparatory program can be combined with a specific bachelor's or master's degree program.

Language requirements for international students:

TOEFL - at least 570 (on paper) or 87 (based on the Internet)

IELTS - 6.0.

You are exempt from the language test if you have successfully completed at least 1 year (60 credits), whether secondary or higher education, where the language of instruction was English (you must provide an official certificate).

Note: If proof of English proficiency or certificate is not ready by the deadline, you can always send it later instead of missing the deadline.
