Annual photography competition "Wisden - MCC Cricket"

Registration is now open for the annual Wisden - MCC Cricket photography competition. This competition has been running since 2010. It is open to both professionals and amateur photographers from all over the world. The theme of the competition is cricket.

Eleven of the best works will be on display at Lord's Club, where they will be seen by thousands of visitors. The work of the three winners will be featured in the Wisden Cricketers almanac in the color photography section. First, second and third place winners will receive their copy of the almanac.

Prizes:

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges chaired by former Sunday Times chief sports photographer Chris Smith. The full list of the jury can be found at link.

How to apply for the competition?

To participate in the competition, you must upload your photos to the competition website using a special form.

Each competitor can submit up to three photos.

Deadline

Deadline for applications is January 5, 2018.

Each image must be uploaded separately.Brief descriptions should be attached to them, including the date and place of the photo. The size of each image is up to 9 MB.
