Baltic Doctoral Programme

Study programme (30 ECTS) consists of:

Compulsory courses:

- Social Research Development and Methodology I - 3 ECTS

- Social Research Development and Methodology II - 6 ECTS

- Philosophy of Science- 3 ECTS 

Elective courses:

- Qualitative Research Methods - 6 ECTS

- Quantitative Research Methods: Multivariate Statistics - 6 ECTS

- Subject of specialization at the partner university - 6 ECTS (Aarhus University, BI Norwegian Business School, University of Tartu)

The Baltic Doctoral Programme aims to enroll highly motivated candidates with a strong scientific background and potential who are prepared to devote their time to the development of new knowledge.
Applicants to doctoral studies are admitted by means of competition. All applicants holding a Master's degree or any other equivalent higher education degree are eligible to apply. 
The competitive score of applicants is generated in respect to the following criteria: 
  Scientific publications
  Research proposal project
  CGPA of Master studies (grades in the  supplement 
  to a Master's or any other equivalent diploma)
  Interview
  English language skills

 State scholarships for full time studies (4 years) ; the scholarship covers the tuition fee. Citizens of EU and EEA countries are eligible for 
the state funding.
 State scholarships for part time studies (6 years) ; the scholarship covers the tuition fee. Citizens of EU and EEA countries are eligible for 
the state funding.
 Externally funded fee ;  a candidate applies for doctoral studies having an external scholarship.
 Self-funded fee ; a candidate pays full tuition fee.
 ISM Fund Scholarship ; the scholarship covers part of the tuition fee.
