The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Computer and Information Sciences provide a sound technical understanding of computing and information technology and the ability to plan, develop and apply appropriate technologies and tools to frame and solve problems. These programmes allow students with a degree in another discipline to gain advanced expertise and knowledge in Computer and Information Sciences. The Graduate Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences also provides a sound foundation for the Master of Computer and Information Sciences, and in many cases Masters applicants are required to complete the GradDipCIS prior to commencing postgraduate study.

Structure
Students will deepen their knowledge of computer and information sciences by studying a selection of Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences papers.

Papers
FOR GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
A student must complete 60 points from the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences, of which a minimum of 45 points must be at Level 7.
FOR GRADUATE DIPLOMA
A student must complete 120 points from the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences, of which a minimum of 75 points must be at Level 7.
