Hairdressing

This qualification reflects the function of proficient senior hair dressers who use a variety of highly improved earnings, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of catering services to customers. These senior hair-dressers provide specialist services in one or more areas including hair cutting, design, colouring and complicated colour correction, trichology and compound reformation. They work independently and many hair dressers at the level provide technical direction, training and service to team membersThis qualification provides a path to work as a senior hairdresser in a salon setting, a freelance session stylist or perhaps even a technical advisor at product companies.No occupational licensing, certificate or specific legislative requirements connect with the qualification at the time of publication.

• Entry for this eligibility is available to individuals who've:1. \tachieved a Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
• And2. \tat least one year post-qualification full time job experience as a hairdresser in a salon environment where they have employed the knowledge and skills covered in the preceding (or equivalent) eligibility.
