This course offers a pathway for graduates who didn't major in accounting and fiscal direction to find a professional accounting qualifications. Students can build on their studies in engineering, medicine, science or the arts to work in vital regions of finance and management.

Graduates of the Master of Accounting and Financial Management may also apply for membership together with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). - A Australian Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification. Admission can be granted to applicants without an undergraduate degree but with five or even more years of relevant work experience
- In producing an offer to an applicant, the university could give consideration to a selection of factors including English proficiency, academic record and job experience
