Accounting and Financial Management

This course offers a pathway for graduates who didn't major in accounting and fiscal direction to find a professional accounting qualifications. Students can build on their studies in engineering, medicine, science or the arts to work in vital regions of finance and management.

Students need to perform specific subjects so as to graduate with the accredited eligibility, please refer to the Handbook for additional details. Professional enrollment may require a software to the professional human body and may have additional or continuing requirements beyond the conclusion of the degree. Graduates of the Master of Accounting and Financial Management may also apply for membership together with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). • A Australian Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification. Admission can be granted to applicants without an undergraduate degree but with five or even more years of relevant work experience
• In producing an offer to an applicant, the university could give consideration to a selection of factors including English proficiency, academic record and job experience
• International students must meet academic and English language requirements
• NB: prep minimal requirements does not guarantee an offer of a spot. Entry in to most of of La Trobe classes is based on competitive selection and there can be limited places available.
