This program provides registered nurses with the knowledge and techniques for an expert role as an enhanced nurse at a graduate diploma level. Students can tailor the diploma to their area of specialty or role. There's just a massive choice of elective subjects that encircle the aspects of clinical, chronic and complex care (aging and palliation); chief health care; education; direction; and research. This training course was created so students can tailor their theme choices to meet their unique needs. The knowledge, expertise and skills gained empower students to improve the quality of care for patients and their loved ones. Students develop skills to actively contribute to the professional development of others and use signs to make informed decisions concerning nursing training. Highly respected by companies and clinicians alike, this class develops a variety of livelihood choices. Students develop graduate attributes such as leadership; criticalthinking; responsibility; communicating; professional qualities appropriate to their own role; and Indigenous cultural esteem. These attributes are developed with key external stakeholders, industry advisers, clinical spouses, companies and clinicians. The class develops a student's career as a clinician, director or teacher through stretching, enhancing and building confidence in existing skills as well as providing academic experience and qualifications. Career options include leadership positions in complex functions, e.g. clinical, chronic and complex care (aging and palliation), primary health care, education, managementand research, clinical nurse specialist or adviser, nursing direction, complex case management, nursing education, and aged care.

UTS recognised bachelor level, or equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional credentials that shows possibility to pursue graduate studies. Applicants must hold current registration as a nurse in Australia. Registered nurses who don't need an undergraduate diploma or degree but don't have relevant work experience and can demonstrate the capability to undertake tertiary study could also be considered eligible. International applicants must be a rn in their own country or place of residence and hold a current Authority to Practise. International applicants must have a minumum of twelve months old post-registration clinical experience. Local applicants must have concurrent employment , or use of, the chosen/relevant clinical subject of study and twelve months old post-registration clinical experience.
