Applied Arts and Humanities (Research)

The Guru of Applied Arts and Humanities (Research) is a full time or parttime course that sees you working together with highly qualified investigators with strong industry connections on a research thesis or creative job. Fields you can opt to explore include: communication, journalism, creative writing, culture and heritage, industrial design, visual communication design, design, landscape design, TESOL/FLT or global studies. You may create a profound understanding of recent developments in your chosen area, since you work to produce a research thesis of up to 60,000 words, or even perhaps a non-traditional research output, such as a creative work or design that addresses an investigation question also corresponding vital essay. This unique and flexible degree encourages multidisciplinary research that reflects the dynamic character of the professions and intentions to give you a creative edge on your prospective career. As a Higher Degree by Research (HDR), this course is currently covered under the Australian Government's Research Training Program (RTP) funding version, which supplies a fee cancel for domestic students for the standard duration of their course.

Applicants must possess studied and/or have had work experience within the field by which they want to perform research: could be attested by testamur or through portfolio of work showing subject material knowledge/experience.
