The Master of Applied Finance will prepare students for executive careers in finance, banking, capital management and corporate treasuries. The level is especially designed to encompass these areas so students may choose the units appropriate to their career opportunities. It provides students with the technical knowledge required to work in a evolving and more sophisticated monetary environment with a focus on the practical application of these processes. This course fulfils the educational requirements for Entrance as a Senior Associate (SA Fin) of Finsia - the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Senior Partner membership with Finsia also requires three or more years career experience in the financial services industry. The Master of Applied Finance additionally enables graduates to satisfy the education requirements for professional membership of the Finance and Treasury Association - Certified Finance and Treasury Professional (FTA-CFTP).
