This program aims to ground students in the social sciences with a well-developed understanding of social programs, social theory, and social networking. It integrates theory, social researchabilities, skills and professional expertise, and preparing students using critical thinking skills for job in the work force public, private and community settings. The program permits students to select between a minor in Counselling or Training, in that they complete 3 units of study. This course also comes with an overall total of 250 hours Work-integrated Placement that provide students with working experience and terrific networking opportunities to help prepare yourself for entering your workplace.
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Or a Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
- Or partial completion of a Bachelor's degree
- Or be aged 21 years or over
