The Master of Architecture Matches the academic requirements for registration as a Professional in Australia. To register as an architect, then you also have to complete two years of professional practice and pass on the AACA Architectural Practice Examination. Determined by your prior qualifications and experience you will be eligible for entry credit, which reduces the duration. 3 years having a bachelor's degree in any field, or two years using a bachelor's degree in Architecture. For the three year course, selection is based on previous academic achievement. Applicants must also provide a compilation of evidence of creative engagement through some media, a current cv and a statement of purpose. Short listed applicants may be invited for a meeting. Selection is based on previous academic achievement, which must have already been completed within 5 decades of proposed commencement of the Masters program. Students who have completed the Bachelor of Architectural Design at Monash University will automatically progress into the 2-year Master of Architecture.
