The writing program at The University of Canberra is your earliest tertiary writing program in Australia, with a long and established record of excellence. The Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) is staffed with awardwinning, industry-active novelists, poets, screenwriters, editors and publishers who will help the student emerge with a portfolio of lively, creative and skilled work. Students have the possibility to experiment in various ways of creative writing including prose fiction, poetry, writing for young people, screenwriting, and narrative non fiction. Students will learn to create narratives, craft language and hone critical skills. Along with seminars, seminars and tutorials students will learn through project work, mentorships, pro experience, and have opportunities for research. The expert important in creative writing can provide students with a broad and flexible set of skills and knowledge that you can continue with you to all mode of workplaces.

Admission for the program is based on an entrance position. A position can be achieved by means of a year 1-2 ATAR, additional Australian eligibility, work experience, or an international qualification.
