Offered jointly at the University of Adelaide and the Art Gallery of South Australia, students study the ranges of the Gallery, together with instruction offered by both curatorial and academic staff in both institutions and by federal experts. On-campus classes are held after-hours, together with lectures and tutorials held in the University, along together with'handson' workshops at the Art Gallery. Students are invited to consider questions and issues reflected in specific works of art, including theirown: origins and production; critical reception; material essay; mixed bundles from the history of taste; subject-matter; put at the lifetime work of this artist who made themand so on. Students become familiar with the issues associated with curating exhibitions and the main questions associated with connoisseurship. They'll develop the research skills required to investigate essential issues in history, including skills in visual investigation.
