Astronomy and Astrophysics (Advanced)

The Guru of Astronomy & Astrophysics (advanced level ) is just a fulltime two year application based upon 50% course work and 50% research undertaking. The course work component could be tailored to the student's needs, and also may consist of astrophysical methods, astrophysical calculating, basic science, leading astrophysics, galaxies, and cosmology. Many courses contain hands-on or research components that develop skills and knowledge in the most recent progress in astronomy and astrophysics. The research project offers the chance to enhance and develop comprehensive knowledge and techniques in a specific area of astronomy or astrophysics. The research component could comprise the acquisition and analysis of telescope data, the growth of theoretical models, and also perhaps even the development and testing of new astronomical instrumentation.

• A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a GPA of 5.5 and 8 Classes in cognate Areas, and the approval of an identified supervisor for the Study project/thesis (cognate Areas: Computer Science, Earth and Marine Sciences, Physics, Mathematics)
