This course is intended to permit appropriately qualified lawyers from jurisdictions outside Australia to satisfy the academic requirements for entry as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW. Each student's course is individually tailored for their academic requirements, as appraised by the Legal Profession Admission Board of the Supreme Court of NSW (LPAB). This course isn't suitable for applicants who are recognized to practise as a lawyer in NSW.

This class will satisfy certain requirements for entrance to the Supreme Court of NSW. The Legal Profession Admission Board may recognise subjects strove within this course. Applicants are advised to get written confirmation of this LPAB in popularity of subjects attempted through this class prior to registering.

  • Applicants must have completed a UTS approved bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional credentials which demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in law from outside Australia or be acknowledged as legal counsel in a jurisdiction outside Australia. The English proficiency requirement of global students or neighborhood applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
  • Or TOEFL: newspaper established: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet established: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21
  • Or AE5: Pass
  • Or PTE: 58-64
  • Or CAE: 176-184.
