Automotive Vocational Preparation

This qualification reflects the use of people who perform a limited variety of tasks relating to identifying and inspecting mechanical and electrical components and processes of light vehicles, heavy duty vehicles, outdoor power equipment, bicyclesand marine craft and motorcycles. This qualification also covers the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out minor maintenance and repair of an automotive vehicle body. The range of technical skills and comprehension will be limited.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements affect this qualification during publication.
