Requirements for Baroque Renaissance Singing Programme at Conservatory of Music "Francesco Venezze"

The Conservatory of Music "Francesco Venezze" offers a Baroque Renaissance Singing programme for prospective students. This programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful Baroque and Renaissance singer.

In order to be accepted into the programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of vocal training or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of two years of music theory and/or music history.
• A minimum of two years of sight-singing and/or ear-training.
• A minimum of two years of performance experience.
• A minimum of two years of music notation and/or composition.
• A minimum of two years of music literature.

In addition to the above requirements, prospective students must also demonstrate a strong commitment to the study of Baroque and Renaissance music. This includes a willingness to learn and practice the techniques and styles of the period.
