Requirements for the Bassoon Programme at Gaetano Donizetti Institute of Music Studies

Are you interested in studying the bassoon at the Gaetano Donizetti Institute of Music Studies? Our bassoon programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful bassoonist. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of prior musical training on the bassoon.
  • A minimum grade of B in all music theory and ear training courses.
  • A minimum grade of C in all other academic courses.
  • A successful audition.
