This qualification reflects the function of individuals employed as beauty experts to provide a wide selection of beauty therapy services and treatments including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, eyebrow and lash treatments, nail and makeup services. This consists of consultation with customers to give beauty advice, recommend beauty services and treatments, and sell retail skin care and decorative products.These individuals function relatively autonomously, and are liable for private baits. Their work involves the selfdirected application of knowledge and skills with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, techniques and services. Work is normally ran in beauty salons and spas.No occupational licensing, certificate or specific legislative requirements affect the qualification at the time of book.
