Biomedical Sciences

You learn step-by-step about the biological processes: from the molecular, cell and tissue level, to the most complex organs, and ultimately the body as a whole. However, you also look at the body's response to environmental factors (e.g. diet, exercise) and unhealthy behaviour. The knowledge you acquire during the programme can be used to improve health and the performance of the human body under various circumstances. Biomedical Sciences is such a vast and diverse field that it is impossible to know everything about it. It is for this precise reason that this programme has been set up to not only cover a wide range of topics but also to be extremely flexible. You choose the themes and course units that best match your interests, talents and ambitions, so that you can thoroughly prepare yourself for a challenging future. It is a three-year programme taught in English.
