It's time for a new type of MBA to step forward. Although traditional MBAs are still in demand, there is a growing need from businesses and industries for a qualification that combines core MBA values with specialist-sector knowledge without the latest buzz words and jargon.
The Bournemouth MBA presents the best of both worlds. A traditional approach through core business and management tailored to your choice of specialisms in Entrepreneurial Management, Business Law and Intellectual Property, Advanced Marketing, Industrial Economics, Financial Services & Business in New Media Environments.
But with literally thousands of MBAs to choose from around the world, why should you choose the Bournemouth MBA?
A Practical MBA
A decent MBA course should be demanding, challenging and focus on general business concepts and skills from across all the key disciplines. It should connect theory delivered in the lecture theatre to practical application in day-to-day business operations.
While traditional lectures have their place within the Bournemouth MBA, it is the practical elements, such as case-study analysis and business simulations which reinforce the theory. This is complemented by guest lectures and workshops delivered by leading practitioners.
A Connected MBA
MBA guest lectures, seminars and symposiums give rise to a whole range of networking opportunities, vital to today's businesses.
Alongside your lecturers and peers, these events will enable you to create a valuable network of contacts that will last a lifetime.
An MBA with Status
An MBA should be recognised by a professional body as so to reflect the quality of the school, curriculum, admissions standards and the overall prestige of a course.
The Bournemouth MBA is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Upon graduation, MBA professionals will be granted Member grade status. Some units on this course are also accredited by The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
An Expert MBA
An MBA should be rooted in schools or faculties which have diverse expertise and knowledge in current concerns and issues facing business.
As experts in their field, our Bournemouth MBA academics are in demand by the media, governments and organisations worldwide for consultation and debate. Their expert analysis and opinion regularly appears in The Guardian, The Independent, Financial Times, BBC Radio and Sky News.
A Valued MBA
BU has produced high-quality graduates for over 20 years.
Our graduates have progressed to hold key positions in renowned companies such as JPMorgan, KPMG, IBM, Barclays, Mazars, Lush, the Crown Prosecution Service, the BBC, Electronic Arts, Financial Times, Ogilvy, and Blake Lapthorn.
A Life-changing MBA
