Business and Arts

This Class leads to two separate degrees: the Bachelor of Business, and Also the Bachelor of Arts. You will gain all of the advantages of each degree program and also become fully equipped to pursue a career in field separately or to unite the two in your chosen work. Your career options will depend on the mix of majors and minors which you choose, and will open a diverse variety of opportunities. Combine Criminology and Accounting to provide you with the skills to pursue a career as a forensic investigator; combination Psychology and Human Resource Management to pursue a business career which focuses on understanding how people think; or group Business Law and Theatre Research to provide you with an edge at the film and entertainment businesses. Wherever your decisions could lead, a degree in Business and also the other in Arts will provide you adaptive and transferable skills that are relevant to almost any industry. The combination may also provide you with the skills that employers are interested in, such as communication, team work, research, critical thinking and ethnic sensitivity - and you'll have the capacity to draw on cross disciplinary viewpoints to flourish within a broad array of settings.

This course may allow graduates to satisfy the educational requirements of numerous professional registrations and memberships.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any English, and Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 22 in Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics, or 25 in Further Mathematics
